I'm Lisa Spencer, founder of Lisa Spencer Coaching and creator of The Reignite Method™.
For 28 years, I led global teams through high-pressure corporate technology environments — navigating complex change, managing conflict, and driving results, often at the cost of my own wellbeing.
In late 2019, that cost caught up with me. I hit burnout hard: exhausted, disconnected from myself, and unsure how I'd got so far from the life I actually wanted.
Recovering from it taught me more about resilience, boundaries, and what a meaningful life actually requires than any leadership role ever had.

That experience — combined with nearly three decades of leadership and conflict management expertise — is what shapes the way I coach today. I understand burnout not as a concept, but as something I've lived through and rebuilt from. As a self-identified recovering perfectionist, I also understand exactly how hard it is to slow down, ask for help, and trust that you don't have to hold everything together to be enough.
Now, I help women recognise the signs of burnout before it takes everything, and guide them through a structured path back to energy, clarity, and a life that feels genuinely their own — three pillars, one meaningful life.
Actually, I didn't set out to become a coach.
I spent almost 3 decades leading teams through high-pressure corporate environments, and I was good at it — until the day I wasn't.
Burnout doesn't announce itself in this big way. It creeps in as "just tired," then "just stressed," then you get to the stage where you just don't recognise the person in the mirror anymore.
One day it all just became too much. I remember it so well — I was in a meeting with my boss, she left the room when we had finished our catch-up. I tried to stand and it was like someone flicked a switch and my legs gave way. That was it, I was done. And in that moment I could never have known my life was going to change forever.
The ironic thing is, what seemed like the worst time in my life ended up leading to the most authentic, meaningful chapter so far. So in many ways, I couldn't be more grateful for the experience. Out of something really awful came something so fulfilling, beautiful and aligned, I am more grateful than I can even put into words.
When I came out the other side — and don't get me wrong, it took me years to recover — I couldn't unsee what I now understood: burnout isn't a personal failing, and it isn't fixed by a holiday or a few early nights. It's a full system reset — and most women trying to recover from it are doing it alone, without a map, without any support at all, and most of all, without someone who knows exactly how they feel.
I just couldn't let it go. I knew with every single cell in my body that I had to help other women in burnout, or approaching it, recover quicker than I did. So, I built The Reignite Method™ — this is the support and "map" I would have liked when I was recovering. And that, that is my "why."
My mission now is to help as many women as possible recover from burnout and lead a meaningful life. I promise you, with the right help, you can have this and lead the life you've always wanted.
I'm not here to tell you to meditate more, add another wellness app to your phone, or just "rest more" and hope it fixes itself. I've been there, and I know that advice doesn't touch what's actually going on underneath.
My approach is honest, practical, and built from real experience — not theory, not a textbook, and not toxic positivity. As someone who's also a recovering perfectionist, I understand exactly how hard it is to slow down, to ask for help, or to even admit that something isn't working. I won't judge you for where you are. I'll help you move forward from it, one manageable step at a time.
Every conversation we have is led by your version of burnout — your pace, your story, your recovery. I bring the map. You bring you.
I work with any woman, at any age, at any stage of burnout — whether you're right in the middle of it, or you can feel it creeping in and want to get ahead of it before it takes hold.
You might be exhausted, overwhelmed, or just quietly wondering if this is what life is now. You might be the one everyone else relies on, the one who's always fine, the one who puts herself last. If any of that sounds familiar, you're exactly who I built this for.
There's no "right" way to arrive here. Wherever you are, whatever led you to this page — you're always welcome here.
I love keeping fit so when I'm not coaching, you'll usually find me at Elite Ladies Kickboxing Club — proof that rebuilding strength, resilience, and confidence isn't just something I coach on, it's something I actively practise myself.
I also love the simple things in life, spending time with my family and friends, walks on the beach, watching the sunset.
I'm so grateful everyday for the life that I have now. I moved to North Cornwall to recover from burnout - this was a huge part of my recovery, ask me about this anytime.
If you want to ask me more about my story, please ask. And if you're ready to talk and want to see if my approach is suitable for you, you can book a discovery call with me by clicking the button below.
Your recovery starts with a conversation, your pace, no pressure — just someone in your corner with lived experience of what you're going through.
Leading with Love, Always.
